The Dutch have a number of banks to choose from, and most of them offer an online account or mobile app. If you want your bank to assist you with opening an account, it is important to do your research first and make sure to go in armed with all of your financial details (including any identification). Here I am listing the documents/Identity you may require to open a bank account, choose the one that meets your requirement. Your BSN number (Burgerservicenummer). A valid form of ID (passport or identity card - often a driver’s licence is not acceptable) Proof of address (i.e., a rental contract). Residency permit if you come from outside of the EU

As an EU national, you enjoy the right of free movement. This means you're entitled to travel, work and live in another EU country. If you're a citizen of a Schengen country – which is most EU countries – you're also free to travel to other Schengen countries without the need for border checks

Awesome healthcare. Great public transportation (In comparison to where I live now: San Francisco, CA). Free to do whatever you like, as long as it is legal, of course. Pretty good education system. The big cities are really vibrant, lots of cultures. Of course, there is racism in every. country, but I would like to say it is not that bad in the Netherlands. Politics is reasonably rational and the level of corruption is minimal. People are very egalitarian, the distance between lowest and highest employee is minimal, people are very informal. The roads are very good and public transport is reasonable and on time. Cons: The weather

When getting a job in any country, the locals are always given priority. Only when a skill set is hard to find within the country people are hired from another country. But there are many job websites which are owned by recruiting consultancies where there can be an opportunity to get a job for rare skill sets

Except for some private schools, most Dutch primary and secondary schools are free. The parents pay a small contribution, which the schools use for extra things. Some international schools are partly funded by the government, and others are private. For a subsidized international school, the annual fee is between €3,600–€6,000, while private schools have fees between €12,000–€24,000
