GVVA – Combined residence and employment permit for NL

Question

Hello, My company is not a registered company in IND, how long exactly will it take for GVVA single permit to be approved? My employer has already initiated GVVA permit processing for me.

Hi again. In as much that it is a combined work and residence visa, yes, they are the same. The HSM has statutory salary limits, but can be obtained in a much quicker time-frame, but the sponsor must be registered with the IND to use this scheme. Hope this helps

Hi and welcome to the Forum. If you've been turned away by both Belgium and the Netherlands, it suggests to me that there is something not quite right. The only reason they would not have told you why is if there is something in your background that makes both countries decide to turn you away without appeal (for example criminality); many countries require at least 12 months after a crime is deemed as spent before they will even consider an application to reside there. If that is not relevant and you have appealed in either country, then they must have told you why because it's the basis of your appeal. If you are determined then perhaps you need to speak to a lawyer. Hope this helps

Hi there, You can try contacting ABN Amro. They are one of the leading banks here in Holland and they open international accounts for foreigners outside of Holland. You get a savings and a current account together with a debit card. You can electronically transfer money before you leave for Holland etc. You can then "convert" this account to a local one upon arrival in Holland and getting your BSN. Hope this helps
