In the near future, the EPI, a partnership of banks and payment systems from the Netherlands, Belgium, France, Luxembourg, and Germany, will consider how to effectively include iDEAL into its plan to create a payment standard for the European market. They think that a standard for payments will facilitate innovation. In France and Germany, where there is now no accepted payment method for online purchases, the first step is to make iDEAL the norm. Customers in the Netherlands won't pay much attention to this

Nearly 74,000 individuals departed the greater Amsterdam area in 2021. Despite the fact that individuals in major cities are accustomed to making concessions, housing costs are rising and the drawbacks are starting to exceed the benefits. Even the mayor said international inhabitants of Amsterdam should not "live in a bubble," but rather integrate into the neighbourhood by, for example, picking up Dutch and volunteering

Absolutely agree. Following this week's significant cup match incident, in which Ajax player Davy Klaassen was struck by a lighter thrown from the crowd, the Dutch football association has announced new steps to try to stop the rise in unrest at matches. The game will be stopped right away if something similar happens again. The lighter's thrower has been taken into custody

It is completely based on your location. Many banks make it difficult for people who do not have a permanent address in the Netherlands. Besides that, different bank use different methods and rates for their services. If you would have to do or receive a lot of international transfers, some banks are less attractive as well. Think and decide

  8. I am planning to bring my parents for the spring. But confused with the whole process. I approached a travel agency, and they mentioned the process has to be only started by February end, as the travel is planned for April. They mentioned a list of docs for raising visas, but they are not aware of Gementee approval. But some people are saying it is a must. If someone can help me understand the process, that’d be helpful.

You don't need any agency to do the process. It's pretty simple to do it yourself. My parents are also coming in April, I got the gemente verified sponsorship letter in Nov'2022 (valid for 3months generally). Applied for the visa in Dec' 2022 and got approval in 2 weeks
