I have a question regarding the schengen visitor visa process. The processing time, according to VFS is 15 calendar days but can take up to 45 days. If we haven’t received a response within 45 days, what should we do? Has anyone experienced this? Any advice for such a situation

The Immigration and Naturalization Service (IND) will notify you before your permit expires. You can extend your permit or apply for a new residence permit if you wish to stay in the Netherlands. If you qualify for a different permit, the IND will determine whether you qualify for an extension. You must depart the Netherlands on or before the expiration date of your residence permit if you don't want to continue living here
