What is the average electricity cost people are paying in Amsterdam? We are a couple; We are about to rent a 1BHK 70m2 square house. Which company is good for electricity and gas? Also, the makelaar is suggesting we pay 310 euros monthly for electric +gas, isn’t that too expensive?

    First off 70m2 for a 1BHK is too large. We use budget energie and our contract is 202 euro per month. The contract here is in a way that at the end of year you will get back the extra amount that you paid. So, for example, if my electricity usage is 70 euro per month then I am paying extra 132 which I will get back.
