Is it allowed to carry a medicine supply for a year in KLM?

Question

I am soon travelling to the Netherlands with my three-year-old daughter. She takes a prescribed medicine twice a day. Is it allowed to carry a medicine supply for a year in KLM? If yes, then what is the process? If not, then how do we get that medicine in the Netherlands, doctors in India have prescribed this medicine to her till she gets five years old.

Answer ( 1 )

  1. Here’s the process (as I had carried medicines for myself a few months back):

    1. Carry a prescription from the doctor for every medicine
    2. Carry a receipt for the medicines
    3. Take all the medicines in the checked-in luggage (not the carry-on luggage)
    4. nobody will likely check the prescriptions or receipts, but it reduces any risk of random searches if they do that
