NL and the European Health Insurance Card

Question

Hi! Does anyone know how the EHIC works in the Netherlands? Like, if you're from another EU country and move here with the card, when do you need to buy regular Dutch insurance? Any special rules to know about? Thanks!

Hi again, The EHIC is an EU/EEA country issued medical insurance document; issued to citizens to use to obtain emergency/urgent healthcare treatment while temporarily visiting another member country. Hope this helps
