We are shifting to the Netherlands from India. I just wanted to get suggestions on the international roaming for Indian Sim. We found Airtel’s annual international plan, which costs 15k for the year. Is there a way to keep my number Active and have incoming SMS? Do let us know if you have better suggestions.

But why do you need an international roaming plan for a year? If it's just to keep the sim active or to receive OTP, you can do it by 1800 annual recharge. With this 1800 recharge, do you get incoming calls also or SMS? Just SMS. for incoming calls, you need to have more than 75Rs balance, but you cannot pick up. Because it will charge you around 75/min.!! So, in case you need to receive incoming calls. Then go with an international roaming plan

I am travelling to India next week. I have my OCI(Overseas Citizen of India) and will use it for the first time. Is it as simple as walking to the airport with OCi and my passport? Please advise if any other paperwork is needed when travelling with OCI.

My husband resides in the Netherlands. He applied for a dependent visa for my son and me in IND. We got IND approval for a dependent visa. I have an appointment for the MVV-family stamping at the Netherlands Embassy in Delhi next month. Can anyone address the list of documents to be taken along for my child apart from the apostilled birth certificate and photo to get the MMV stamped?

First of all, make sure all the documents are in English. In India sometimes they are printed in state language. Apostille birth certificate of three of you, primarily of your child. Apostille Marriage certificate, if marriage certificate does not hold your name as per before marriage and after marriage (in case you changed your name after marriage) then you may need gazette.
