DigiD stands for digital identity; as the name suggests, it is a digital identification of an individual in the Netherlands.
DigiD is a means of identifying yourself when accessing services online. It can be used to access online services of the Dutch government securely over the internet. The login method is through either passwords or phone numbers and OTP.
DigiD is linked to your personal service number (BSN).
