     The MVV is a provisional residence permit that grants entry into the Netherlands for individuals intending to become residents rather than tourists. It should be noted that the MVV itself is not an official residence permit.
     The applicant or their sponsor can initiate the MVV and residence permit application process concurrently before travel. This procedure is called the TEV (Entry and Residence Procedure).
