I had sent my application to surrender the Indian Passport, and all required documents to the VFS centre by PostNL registered post. I checked the track and trace code, and it shows that my post was delivered on July 5th to the VFS office. But I haven’t heard anything from them or received any email or information on my application status. Is this normal? Does it take this much time? I tried to check my application status on the VFS website, but it requires some DHL tracking code which I don’t have. Do I need to contact the VFS to check the whereabouts of my documents?

I have been living in the Netherlands for the past three years, compared to other places; here, there is a variety of work.
