As a Senior Data Architect – Azure, you will:

• Develop and maintain a bank-wide data architecture strategy, ensuring alignment with business goals and objectives.
• Advocate for data lakehouse architecture principles and promote their adoption across the organization.
• Define and establish data management KPIs, OKRs, standards, policies, and procedures to maintain data quality, consistency, and security.
• Design and build conceptual, logical, and physical data models to support data integration, warehousing, and analytics initiatives.
• Collaborate with central data offices and business stakeholders to understand data requirements and translate them into scalable technical solutions.
• Author and maintain architectural documents such as High-Level Designs (HLD), Low-Level Designs (LLD), Data Flow Diagrams (DFD), and strategy papers.
• Evaluate and recommend cutting-edge data management technologies and tools to enhance data capabilities.
• Simplify, socialize, and ensure compliance with data governance policies, including regulatory and data privacy standards.
• Communicate complex data concepts clearly to non-technical stakeholders across the organization.
• Monitor, optimize, and ensure the performance, scalability, and efficiency of the enterprise-wide data architecture.

What You Bring to the Table:

• 10+ years of solid experience in data architecture, data governance, and data management in large, complex environments.
• Hands-on expertise with Microsoft Azure, Databricks, Enterprise Application Architecture, and MySQL.
• Deep understanding and practical experience with data lakehouse concepts and architectures.
• Proficiency in creating and maintaining comprehensive technical documentation (HLD, LLD, DFD, etc.).
• Strong understanding of KPIs, OKRs, and data management frameworks to ensure operational excellence.
• Proven ability to stay updated with emerging trends and technologies in the field of data management.
• Excellent collaboration skills to work across central and domain teams, IT, business units, and external partners.
• Outstanding written and verbal communication skills to interact effectively with both technical and non-technical audiences.
