My enquiry is regarding the letter of sponsorship needed for a family and friend’s short visa stay. I understand that one must visit the municipality to verify the signature. Presently I am out of NL. Is there any other alternative which doesn’t need to be physically present in NL? Like authorizing someone else or an online process.

As far as I know as I went through this process in July, both partners (if you live with your partner in NL) needs to be there physically for signature otherwise they won’t allow.
