As a Functional Analyst, you will:

• Work with Progress 4GL (OpenEdge Advanced Business Language (ABL)) in a client-server environment integrating CHUI GUI with databases and PAS (Progress Application Server).
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze requirements.
• Develop and maintain XML, JSON, DataSets, and REST APIs.
• Ensure effective system integration and performance in a client-server model.
• Contribute to production support, bug fixing, and performance optimization.

What You Bring to the Table:

• 6 to 8 years of total IT experience, including 2 to 5 years of hands-on experience with Progress 4GL (OpenEdge or ABL).
• Strong understanding of Progress (OpenEdge) database concepts.
• Experience working with PAS, XML, JSON, REST APIs, DataSets, and dynamic objects.
• Exposure to Java Web Services, Java XML technologies (such as XML, XSL, FO, JAXP, JAXB).
• Solid experience in requirement analysis, design, development, and production support.
• Knowledge of object-oriented programming languages is a plus.
