I have a question related to the tourist visa rejection for one of my relatives. I invited my brother-in-law’s family to the Netherlands for tourism who is doing business. They applied for a visa in India and it was rejected now with the reason that, they have doubts about them returning to India after the visa expiry. Does anyone face this issue before and what are the next steps? It was told I can contest on their behalf but I am not sure about the timelines and process.

Does anyone know how long it takes for IND to process MVV for spouses? I have heard that it takes longer than 2 weeks which is general for HSM. Have anyone processed the same for their spouse?

I am planning to bring my parents for the spring. But confused with the whole process. I approached a travel agency, and they mentioned the process has to be only started by February end, as the travel is planned for April. They mentioned a list of docs for raising visas, but they are not aware of Gementee approval. But some people are saying it is a must. If someone can help me understand the process, that’d be helpful.

I will be shifting to the Netherlands in January 2023 on an Orientation Year Visa. However, I have not found a house yet. In that case, can I temporarily register at my friend’s address? I can at least get my BSN Bank Account activated in that case. Of course, I’ll notify the municipality once my housing situation changes.
